A couple all-around good "how to" -type sites

Keith Stanger's "Selected Resources for Learning HTML and Creating World Wide Web Pages" Keith is a librarian here at EMU and he has some of the best links and info about the internet you'll find anywhere available at his home page. His HTML resources page is VERY complete and a great place to go and find a wide variety of more info on how to html.
HTML for the Conceptually Challenged A funny and straight-forward guide to making web pages.
NCSA's "A Beginner's Guide to HTML." This is sort of the "grand-daddy" of all these how to html sites, organized and hosted by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
