The Email Writing Assignment

This assignment has three parts:

First, revise one of the emails that you sent to the class mailing list responding to previously assigned readings. Your revisions should be based on our readings and discussion regarding good email "etiquette" and style. (If you haven't completed an email message to the class mailing list, we should talk).

Second, write an email in which you ask a hypothetical "boss" (an office supervisor, a principal, etc.) to schedule a meeting to discuss an issue important to both you and your boss.

Third, write a one page memo from you to me where you explain the revisions you made to your previously sent email and where you discuss the choices you made with your email to a hypothetical boss. You will send me this memo in a third email message as an attachment.
